SHB PODCAST PRESENTS: A LIL CHAT WITH TRAVIS SENGAUS OF “BIG HITTERS” ON KICKSTARTER

This episode is a mini episode to showcase and support creative people with their passion projects! We have Travis Sengaus comic artist and co-creator of “BIG HITTERS”; a full-color sci-fi, buddy comedy, action/adventure crime story about a pair of hitmen trying to make a living on both sides of the law in a post-war galaxy. Think Lethal Weapon in space-meets-Guardians of the Galaxy in the streets, raised on Saturday morning cartoons and R-rated movies.

(Side note this podcast was recorded using Skype so the audio quality is not as great as it could be. Sorry about that! But is was still great to meet and chat with Travis Sengaus)

EPISODE 69-Kickstarting Indies with Mike Bloom: Creator of Italiano Comic

On this episode of Super Hammer Bros. Podcast, GrizGeek had a great time chatting with Indie Creator Mike Bloom about his his comic “Italiano”, which he has put on Kickstarter. The story is about four very colorful crime families who are locked in a war for control of Capitol City. Mike Bloom shares his story of about hardships he has gone through, hustling to get noticed, hitting the Cons, and gaining notoriety among his Indie comic artist heroes. Along the way, the two bond on the struggles of staying motivated to keep on creating, that and toys! Also video games, which Mike Bloom is pretty much not allowing himself to play until his books are done. . . No Overwatch PotG for M-BOOM! (haha hey Mike if that is not your gamer tag…you’re welcome :P)

GrizGeek being the nerdy fan boy that he is, couldn’t help but notice the similarities between Mike Bloom and Rock Lee’s undying work ethics and to “Go beyond, Plus Ultra!”. . . ok that last quote isn’t a Naruto reference, it’s by All-Might from “My Hero Academia, but same rules applies. 😛
